This Savvy Shopper forum had a lot of people asking where to buy “baseball card protector sheets” around the Utah Valley area. A few mentioned Mr.E’s Sports Cards and Collectibles as the source to get protector sheets. Mr.E’s does indeed sell card protector sheets for either 25 cents a sheet, or $15 for a box of 100 sheets. The brand is Ultra-PRO Platinum Series which is very durable and high-quality. What makes it so great is that it is strong because of it’s heavier material compared to others and it also provides UV protection. It is also PVC free which mean there is no acid contained in the sheets. Once I bought card protector sheets from the Provo K-mart and I noticed how much more flimsy they were and thin compared to the ones the Mr.E’s sells. So I only buy sheets from Mr.E now.

If you’re in need of high-quality sports card protector sheets, check out Mr.E’s located at 720 S. State Street in Orem, Utah. He also sells other protective cases for individual cards. This includes varied plastic cases to fit autographed cards and thicker ones for the jersey cards. He also has very nice cases that come apart to set your card in and snap back together with a magnetic piece. Some of these cases also provide UV protection, so it’s a good idea to use these for your more valuable cards. The nice thing about Mr.E is that when you buy packs with a guarenteed jersey or autograph inside, he typically throws in the protective cases for free. He also sells hobby, collector binders as well. Mr.E is well-equipped all the sports cads lovers needs with protective cases, sheets and binders.

Utah Sports Card Shop Keeps it Fun

They’re hundreds of miles from the nearest Major League Baseball or NFL stadium, but Utah sports fans still gravitate toward the latest cards at one small shop.

Sports cards aren’t dead in Utah either.

Rodney Eastman is owner of Mr. E’s in Orem, Utah, is enjoying his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service while running his shop.

The store is small, but the customers are loyal. Eastman makes sure to have as much new product as possible on his shelves, since it seems both kids and adults are still hunting those elusive autographed chase cards.

Eastman also has a diverse inventory to keep customers coming in, but sports cards remain his bread and butter. And yes, he’s still a collector with too many cards to count.

“I’m sharing my hobby and people are sharing their hobby with me,” he told a reporter from the local newspaper who stopped by to check out the action.

Mr.E’s deals the cards to sports fans

You’re a sports-loving fanatic and it’s the summertime, which means it is downtime for many professional and collegiate sports. What should you do to pass the time while you wait for them to start up again?

Collecting sports cards and memorabilia is how college students are still able to enjoy sports during the off-season in the summer. As the only card shop in the Utah Valley area, Mr.E’s Sports Cards and Collectibles serves the community and students with a varied selection of sports cards and amazing memorabilia. Mr. E has current and past cards from sports leagues such as the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, NASCAR and MLS.

There are two ways to collect sports cards at Mr.E’s. One way is to buy a pack of unopened cards. These vary in price and the amount inside of each pack, but many of them have the chances of pulling an autograph or memorabilia card at a low price. When you buy a whole box full of packs of cards, then you are guaranteed to pull an autograph or memorabilia card.

This is a fun way to enjoy the hobby, but others choose to just buy the exact cards they want from Mr. E. He sells many cards that have the player’s autographs, jerseys, or both included on them and are from several popular players in every sport like Kevin Garnett, Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith. Other autographed items at the shop include game balls, jerseys and pictures.

Mr.E himself is in the shop every Monday through Friday helping customers find their favorite player’s card and other items. This past Saturday he held a card show at his shop where many dealers around the area came to buy, sell, and trade cards with the public. Raffle drawings and door prizes were given which included Troy Aikman’s autographed jersey, Alex Smith’s autographed jersey, an autographed basketball from Utah Jazz players, and boxes of Topps cards.

Card shows are a fun time to gather with other sports enthusiasts and collect cards while chatting about the latest news on players and sports leagues. Mr.E holds card shows every two months and when you visit his shop, he can put you on the mailing list if you want more information on future card shows. July 18 Card Show

Thanks to all that attended the card show yesterday. It was a lot of fun with a full room of dealers selling cards ranging from football, baseball, basketball and old classics.

The next card show will be in October. Until then, check out Mr.E’s shop to see his collection of cards you can buy from him.

Several dealers filled the place selling all sorts of sports cards. The show was free to the public and saw many kids, teens, and adults in attendance through out the day.

A family spent their day at Mr.E's card shop looking for their favorite players' cards.

Some dealers specialize in certain cards. One of the dealers specifically sold a wide-variety of older, classic sports cards. The table on the right was selling grab bags and gave away autographed jerseys of Troy Aikman and Alex Smith.
